Prototype 01 uses organic profiles and sculptural forms, taking inspiration from the raw irregular forms found in boulders. Each leg is individually carved with smooth sculptural faceted surfaces that catch light and shadow, adding depth and dimension. A concealed threaded rod allows for subtle adjustments, enabling the top and bottom sections to rotate and reveal different facets or wood grain orientations. Metal plates, seamlessly integrated into the bench surface, anchor the structure—an intentional yet playful detail that can be patinated for a customized finish, enhancing its tactile and visual character over time.
